How We Support Our Schools
Gatehouse Green Learning Trust Central Support services work in partnership with our schools – our key objective is to deliver the highest standards of education and support for our children and young people. Support teams enable school and Trust leaders to focus on providing and sustaining a high quality of education for all our children.
School improvement is part of our core purpose and therefore the Trust has invested to ensure schools have the capacity to support each other in their improvement journey in a robust and collaborative way and drawing on external expertise where necessary.
We have dedicated and specialist support for Finance, HR, Estates and ICT provision which is underpinned by a service agreement about responsibility for operational matters. This will be reviewed regularly to ensure it meets the needs of the schools and is value for money.
In order to deliver its shared services to our schools, the Trust takes a small ‘top slice’ from each school’s budget.
Where a school joining the Trust uses different systems, it will, over an agreed time table, move across to the Trust’s systems and procedures. The Trust will support the school in this process.
